Spinach and ricotta ravioli from Citarella, half a Pom Cherry and one of G's homemade Snickerdoodles (scroll down). He put them in a newly emptied Lavazza can, which gave them a slight coffee essence. YUM!

It's that time of year again when one of my favorite beverages hits the shelves: Pumpkin Ale! I picked up some Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale last night, and unfortunately it sucked. The spicy-pumpkin-y flavor was totally fake, like a "pumpkin ale" spice packet had been empited into the beer. And no wonder, the damn stuff is made by Coors! Last time I buy that junk. Hopefully I'll be meeting up with Kerry at Heartland Brewery this week for a Smiling Pumpkin Ale, which never disappoints. And with a plate of their obscene onion rings...pub food heaven!
